Pay: Welder: $22–$23/hr (DOE) Welder Helper: $16/hr

Schedule: Welder: Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Job Duties

We’re looking for a Welder Helper to join our manufacturing and fabrication team in Tampa. You’ll support welders, handle materials, and learn basic welding skills on the job.

Welder Helper / Welder Assistant – Manufacturing

Location: Tampa, FL

Hours: Monday–Thursday | 6AM–5PM (4-Day Work Week)

Starting Pay: $16/hr

Key Responsibilities 

Help welders by setting up materials and tools

Keep the welding area clean and organized

Move and position metal parts for welding

Grind or clean welds after they are finished

Watch for safety issues and follow all safety rules

Assist welders during production and fabrication work

What We’re Looking For 

Experience in a metal shop, welding shop, or manufacturing is a plus

Able to lift and move materials through the shift

Reliable, on time, and able to work 10-hour days

Pays attention to detail and safety

Willing to learn and support skilled welders

Must have steel toed boots
